Qualifications
CBS are constantly looking to resource M&E staff for our clients based in and around the south east of England, The Thames Valley and Hampshire. New applicants need to be qualified at least to NVQ level and hold relevant JIB (joint industry board) and CSCS/ECS site safety certification.
Health & Safety
Our clients expect our contract staff to be equipped with relevant PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and relevant plant including battery drills and hand tools relevant to the position. CBS will give new applicants a full job description before site commencement.
Payment
Hourly rates of pay are agreed prior to contract commencement and are generally based around a nine hour day. Additional hours and overtime is agreed at varying rates between the client and CBS. CBS operate a weekly BACS payment scheme with various umbrella CIS companies, normally, but not exclusively The Guild of Construction workers.
