Severe Weather Disrupts The New Year
After a near two week break, the first week back at work last week was severely disrupted by heavy snow, ice and freezing fog, leaving extended holidays for kids, but commuter hell for contract workers. This is a setback as many projects have have fallen behind, because even if contractors are getting to work, sub zero temperatures have meant construction workers cannot are unable to carry out groundwork, concreting and brickwork. A gradgual thaw is forecast this week, meaning we can hopefully get back to normal!
