It’s that time of year when I like to thank all my clients and contract workers for their support over the last twelve months. For many of us it has once again been hard work turning turnover in to profit, and for me personally it is a year that will be remembered for not that much apart from survival.

However when work has come along I have been ever so grateful to the loyalty my regular clients have shown by keeping me busy when they possibly can, without that support you may have been served by me at the Basingstoke drive thru McDonalds. I have I believe served my clients well but that is not possible without good contract staff and the pool of staff I have managed to keep busy have helped me maintain a reputation for supplying an honest and competitive service.

To those of you who have had a good year, well done, to those of you who have not, I sincereley hope there are better times around the corner. Once again thanks to everyone who has either used us a s a supplier or worked for us a contractor this year, have a great Christmas and a prosperous New Year

Regards, Bob Lethaby

The big freeze hit many parts of Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hants last week but many areas round Berkshire and the Thames Valley avoided the disruption. This has coincided with a major downturn in work for CBS as our clients appear to have had jobs either postponed or put back to the new year.

The amount of new applicants we have recieved in the last fortnight had risen dramatically and appears that until January at least electrical contractors seeking contract work could be in for a tough couple of months.

CBS always welcome high quality applicants who are searching for new permanent or contract positions so please keep sending in your CV’s and certificates and we will try to assist you with a new position where we possibly can. If any of our clients or prospective clients have any up and coming projects or need staff for Christmas shut down projects, please do not hesitate to contact us as we are in a position to place quality labour more or less immediately.  Contact Bob on 07956 537076 or at bob@cbsrecruit.co.uk for any assistance or further information.

CBS have began our delayed project in Redditch (pictured left). This is a refurbishment for one of our established clients and is set to run for a period of six to eight weeks.Despite being based in the Thames Valley we have no hesitation  taking on projects across the country as in the current climate we have no problems with labour resourcing. For this project we have recruited two electricians from the West Midlands.
